While attending high school and university, Alan worked as a painter for K&B Home Services. It was with K&B that Alan learned the fundamentals of professional painting and offering a high standard of customer service. Upon graduation from Trent University, Alan embarked on a journey to Japan that would last nearly a decade. Upon his return to Toronto with a wealth of experience in business and exposure to the world-renowned Japanese practice of superb customer service, Alan began laying the foundations for Brush’n Up Painting Co., a now flourishing team of painters with an impeccable reputation for quality and customer care.
Castro came to Toronto from Costa Rica in 2001. He has 11 years of experience as a painter. Castro has painted countless homes, hotels, and offices. His work can be found in high profile settings like the Bay Street TD building and the Ritz Carlton Hotel. Castro is fluent in many languages including English, Spanish, Portuguese, and Italian. He puts the same care into his painting as he does into his hobbies as an artist and a stained glass enthusiast. There is no painter in Toronto exceeding his skill, dedication, and pride in his work.

Within 24 hours of the walk-through you will receive a quote in your email inbox. Your quote will include a detailed outline of the painting process specific to your home or business from preparation to clean up. It will include prices. Your quoted price is guaranteed. We never add hidden or additional charges to your final invoice unless, of course, you request additional work beyond the original quote.

Our team arrives at your home or business on the agreed-upon date. We thoroughly prepare your home for painting. Our services include agreed-upon repair of damage to walls and ceilings, protection with drop sheets, builder’s paper, tape, and plastic of your floors, windows, countertops, light fixtures, and all other belongings that may be in harm’s way.
We prime and paint your home or business with your choice of paint. We are always happy to recommend the paint brand that will best suit your needs.
Our clean-up process is ongoing from the moment we arrive at your home or business on day one to the moment we leave on the final day. Upon completing the job, we will remove all protective coverings, clean any leftover dust and debris, remove all of our tools and equipment, and return all your electrical and light coverings to their rightful places.
